It has been proven that electromagnetic fields affect the human brain and body. Renowned scientists indicate that cellular telephone radiation tremendously impairs membranes of the circulatory and nervous systems. The harmful effects of exposure to EMF appear to take place slowly over time. The health cases that came to light in the 1990s most likely had their origin in the 1980s or before. The long-term effects of damage inflicted today won't be known for years to come.

A Danish study of 32,000 electrical utility workers exposed to 50-Hz magnetic fields found occupational risk factors for central nervous sytem tumors, including the question of an EMF-cancer association.
A US study examined a possible association between occupational EMF exposure, measured using computerized data collected by the US National Center for Health Statistics, and neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disase, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. These results are compared to a second analysis which examined dementia in relation to occupational magnetic field exposure.
A Swedish study connected the relationship between parental work in the power industry to birth abnormalities and childhood cancer.
